Charitable Union

At noon on March 13^th at Nottke’s Family Fun Center you could hear a pin drop!  Charitable Union’s 3^rd Annual Bowl-a-thon was underway.  The event offered over 125 bowlers an afternoon of bowling, door prize raffles, giveaways, and fun.

 

We have been working hard to try to make this website more user friendly. We have added two new donation buttons. So, at the point of your mouse you will be able to donate to the Clothes for Kids Campaign or the Bowl-a-thon. You can also register online for the March 13th Bowl-a-thon. Just follow the link on the left side bar on the home page. We have also added a video PowerPoint presentation. To view this presentation click on the video link to the left of this blog.

Seems that we are on target to pass last year's record October coat drive; last year we distributed 2,588 coats free of charge in October. In the last 30 days (we started giving coats out this year at the end of September) we have already distributed 2,820! If there is ever any doubt of the need of our neighbors we only have to look a short distance to see that there are 100's of people who need our help.

Bowling this Saturday will help clothe kids in school.

Yesterday, one of my co-workers chided me for not adding anything to this blog since it started. Well, here it goes...
