Giving Help
Donations of clothing and other items are received:
  • Monday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Tuesday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Second Saturday of the month from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon

Volunteering

Whether your talent is in sewing, quilting, working with people or something else there are many ways to be a part of Charitable Union. Some examples of the various opportunities to care are:

  • Greeting donors and receiving their donations
  • Sorting and measuring clothing
  • Straightening shelves and stock client store throughout the day
  • Working at receptionist desk and data entry
  • Working in the gift shop
  • Maintaining the facilities

Service Projects

We welcome churches, service groups or youth groups to organize a collection drive for blankets, bedding or winter coats, or come down to Charitable Union and work with our staff sorting, hanging and straightening clothes to be given out in the Client Store. Have a youth group collect socks, underwear and T-shirts. The opportunities are as plentiful as the creativity of our volunteers. Your few hours can make a big difference in someone’s life!
